  • Bought NEW CASH PAID, optioned Hyundai Getz2010 from James Friselles Gold Coast Hyundai in High Street, Southport.Qld.At 13,147kms doing 100kms p/hr, motor seizes in far right lane at Nerang due to manufacturers Fault. After much arguing for a loan car being told "coutesy car is courtesy & not requirement"though warranty,I finally got one. 2weeks later after motor rebuild I'm told I have to take it back & pay! for the 15,000kms service to keep new car warranty but so they can check the oil for metal shavings still in the motor as the cam shaft sprocket sheared off bending pistons & valves etc causing motor to seize. Service manager then sends me a letter to say the service in almost due & the service needs to be done to keep the warranty. Smart alec. They win as they say the did the right thing as per new car manual!! BELITTLING treatment & feeling buying from them. Debbie.
  • Agreed.New Car Service is no better.My new fully optioned cash paid Hyundai Getz 2010 now with 13,147kms seized on M1 motorway at 100 kms p/hr in far right lane at Nerang due to manufacturers fault.Cam shaft sprocket pin sheared off, seizing the motor, bending valves & pistons,having to virtually rebuild the motor.Being at 1st refused a loan car by them. 2 wks later I pick the car up & told the 15,000kms service still has to be done & me pay for it so they can check there's no metal shavings still in the motor!Much arguing over it but they always win & say nothing can be done coz they do the "right" thing.Loan car is a "courtesy" & they don't have to.Safetry feature alrmed locking system works rarely & they don't seem to be able to fix it right either.Belittling feeling buying their car.
  • worst place ever had car serviced at.. Got a quote done. then compared prices. they were going to rip me off by $1500 then ripped me off more when asked for car back and tried to tell me they started servicing without my permission and it would cost $320 for nothing.
