The food was good and at a fair price for a fair size. However, the service was lacking; my friends' meals (entres and deserts) were forgotten, and they had to ask the staff on two occasions where their food was. The first time they asked they had to produce receipts to prove to the staff they purchased the food! Also, my partner's tiramisu was not nice---it was mostly cake stuffed in a glass.

Good friendly service. Quality of food good quantity is not worth the price e.g pizza.

I've been to Jo Jo's 3 times and have had a good meal each time. It is busy though so don't go there for a romantic tet a tet!

I have had some great and some disastrous experiences with this place! The food selection is fantastic and the atmosphere is always great, and the cocktails are quite tasty too! It's also a good place to go if you know that somebody that tries to squirm out of paying their share as you pay at the counter when ordering.
However, on one particularly disastrous occasion, a glass was smashed and cut my friend's arm. The staff's response was really poor. That experience definitely lowers Jo Jo's place on my list of places I like to eat.

A Brisbane dining institution. Head up the escalators and find a spot on the balcony — perfect for people-watching over bustling Queen Street Mall. When it comes to food the question is what don’t they serve? More or less a mini food court, pick from steaks off the grill, fresh Mediterranean dishes, seafood, Oriental dishes or a quick cocktail. The white marble décor is accompanied by kitsch statues of stars from yesteryear, fake art works and bizarre animal statuettes.

Josie Ackerie opened this city institution 27 years ago and still leads the kitchen today. High above the Queen Street Mall, it’s a light and breezy space with stylish, natural-coloured decor. Jo-Jo’s serves a range of contemporary and ethnic cuisine, with a focus on char-grilled fare, Thai influences, and scrumptious pizzas. It also has a decent range of Australian and French wines.
