How can a private hospital have such revolting food? My mum has been in John Flynn for a week now and there are bits and pieces on the floor that have not been swept up. The toilet seat is wiped over and then everything else wiped off with the same cloth without washing. If I'm sick I think I'll opt for the public hospital thanks.
When you are not well I can't think of a better place to recuperate. The wards are spacious and easy to navigate with private rooms and comfortability for visitors to visit without being clock watched. The reception is like a resort entrance and the gardens manicured and lovely. Plenty of onsite parking both free and paid, but be warned if you do choose the lower carparks you will have a walk up the hill to the lift entrance so best to drop any older or unwell patients off before parking.
I cant say anything negative about my stay at John Flynn. The nurses on the Orthopedic ward and theatre were excellent.Efficient and friendly. The hopsital is well run, food not bad and the Christmas decorations were spectular in the wards!. They need appreciation for their care. Only negative was South Coast Radiology who seemed more concerned about getting paid.
