Went to Kellys for a night out, good live music and pints, cant ask for much more. You do need to walk through the dance floor as soon as you get in the bar, just try to dodge past the beer going everywhere!
  • Great pub, this place provides good atmosphere and a lot of fun. Upstairs there are pool tables and a courtyard outside which is really great.
  • The place is good, atmosphere is also good but the attender should also improved there way of attending the customer.
  • Really fun place to be, lively atmosphere and the drinks are affordable.
  • Good ambiance, really fun and lively. Prices are reasonable for food and drinks, will be back for some more!
  • Great pub. One of the good places to go in Newtown.
  • Really nice place and affordable, will definitely be back.
  • Never eaten here, but so many fond (and fuzzy) memories of Kellys. The place is reeking with character, not so much from the decor but from the stories the walls tell... many, many a good time had here on a bustling Saturday night with friends. Completely reliant on its atmosphere, the crowd the place attracts is what makes Kellys great. People from all walks of life can be found there on a Friday or Saturday night and you can walk into any area of the place and not be met with scrutiny or raised eyebrows (amazing considering most of the clientele are young, hip, trendy people). Go Kellys!
  • Great pub, I've been here over 20 times and the service is always top grade.
  • Really nice bar. I like the food - it's veery tasty and prices are affordable.
  • I need to give this place a huge rap. We had booked a party at the Zanzibar, and they let us down appallingly. We marched down to Kelly's and they took us all in and looked after us fabulously. Kudos to Kelly's. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
  • great pub! was my secong home when i lived locally, great food, friendly staff, good beer and a good night out.
  • Nice authentic feeling pub, with brilliant food and cheap drinks. The atmosphere during the week is relaxed and during the weekend has a similar vibe, but much busier. The food is great, I would recommend the wedges, which are served with bacon bits and melted cheese- amazing. The portions are huge so beware!!
  • I hadn't been here in a long time as it seemed to be a last resort sort of a place towards the end of a long night however went there last night to eat and stayed for the quiz night (Thursdays). The food was quite exceptional and was much more than what you would expect from the look of the place. Hot chips made from real potatoes! Steak cooked perfectly and good quality meat cheap. Certainly the best food in the area when it comes to pubs. The quiz stayed away from sports questions and was generic enough for most people to participate. Only complaint is that the venue is quite narrow and you feel like you're in a corridor but i suppose that's all part of the character.
  • Great relaxed Irish pub feel good beer and food
  • I have been there 2 times, good service.
