I need to give this place a huge rap. We had booked a party at the Zanzibar, and they let us down appallingly. We marched down to Kelly's and they took us all in and looked after us fabulously. Kudos to Kelly's. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Nice authentic feeling pub, with brilliant food and cheap drinks. The atmosphere during the week is relaxed and during the weekend has a similar vibe, but much busier. The food is great, I would recommend the wedges, which are served with bacon bits and melted cheese- amazing. The portions are huge so beware!!

I hadn't been here in a long time as it seemed to be a last resort sort of a place towards the end of a long night however went there last night to eat and stayed for the quiz night (Thursdays). The food was quite exceptional and was much more than what you would expect from the look of the place. Hot chips made from real potatoes! Steak cooked perfectly and good quality meat cheap. Certainly the best food in the area when it comes to pubs. The quiz stayed away from sports questions and was generic enough for most people to participate. Only complaint is that the venue is quite narrow and you feel like you're in a corridor but i suppose that's all part of the character.
