We paid in full for a Team Building event. We had three people resign literally three days before the event, we then asked that considering the extreme circumstances could we forfeit our deposit and get a refund and/or postpone the event. We were met with 100 nos until eventually we got an agreement to forfeit our catering payment of $165 as the food had already been ordered (3 days out) and pay an additional $165 at the next event to covering the food which is to be rescheduled less than two months later. We were treated like we were taking them for a ride, with no compassion for the fact that we just had three people head hunted from our business so suddenly. We were willing to postpone or lose the deposit!!
Now at our rescheduled event we do not wish to give this company any more money so we asked that they do not cater for us. Despite our rescheduled event being over a month away they are not willing to let us reschedule unless we pay for additional catering that we do not want or need. This is the perfect example of a company are all about customer service right up until the point of sale thereafter you hold no value to them.
