I don't seemed to ever have the "packed" issue like other reviewers. Previously living in Ultimo for three years, the biggest issue was the fact that Kmart only ever seemed to have one (or two max) cashiers working. So though it was relatively empty, you would always have to wait at the checkout. I now notice they have self checkouts, but these weren't open when I last visited.
Being open 24/7 is awesome and as suggested by others, Broadway shopping centre offers great parking which makes it pretty much the best place to go in the Inner City.
As Kmarts go it's pretty big. Just don't expect any customer service as I have never found any staff to even ask and check if they are helpful or knowledgeable.Prices aren't inflated for the city or anything.

Conveniently open 24 hours this Kmart is well stocked. During the recent heatwave there seemed to be a shortage of household fans yet this store had plenty of stock. With 3 hours free parking in the Broadway shopping Centre it is a one stop household and garden shop in the city.
You can also find some inexpensive gym gear, last minute birthday presents such as books and household items and car maintenance items- I bought my Melbourne Cup fascinator from here last year!
Would recommend this place if you need everyday items at any time of the day. -

This year I was happy to discover that Kmart had some reallky great casual clothes for women at a reasonable price. The accessories are also great too with a fabulous range of high heels, handbags, pyjamas and hoisery - all at great prices. Overall a great range of products when you need something quick -

Also has a good camping / fishing section for any of those last minute things you forgot to get at Ray's-

I've been here a few times as convenient location to the city and is open till 9pm almost every night! Really helps to have these long hours and I like the homeware bargins. Clothing is ok if you want simple things. As with all Kmart stores there are no staff around to help I find.
