Reviews of Knoxbrooke Inc

My sister is 23 and Autistic and had been at Knoxbrooke for 4 - 5 years. Communication with this school was horrible. We really struggled to get someone to keep us up to date. In my opinion, many things that had occured in the 5 years she attended Knoxbrooke, it seemed the school was very much ran as a business - money hungry rather than a place for caring and education. Anything that was out of the ordinary seemed to be tossed into the "Too hard" basket with this school. My sister had some health problems which without going into it made her become quite hard to handle, we had tests done and nothing was found. When we eventually had a discussion with this school they turned around and said "we believe her autism has gotten worse" because apparently after 23 years of being EXACTLY the same she all of a sudden gets worse? I think not. We recently moved my sister to a new school where she is all of a sudden back to normal. No health problems, no mood swings, no unhappiness.
