Koryu Uchinadi is a modern interpretation of Okinawa's historic fighting art and has an application based curriculum. Whilst there is large amount of hype about mixed martial arts, or (MMA), Koryu Uchinadi is the original mixed martial art. Defensive methods such as kicking, punching, strangulation, choking, joint locking, grappling, pressure point manipulation are practiced in Koryu Uchinadi. 

A completely systematized method of learning/teaching for children and adults, delivered in a traditional atmosphere, honouring both the culture from which it comes and the master who  pioneered its practice, Koryu Uchinadi is both an art and a science.
