I love having dessert and coffee at Kurtosh. It is a very nice place to chill out with friends or just wind down after a long day. The place is quite spacious and has an unpretentious vintage atmosphere.
The way you order the cakes are also quite unique. It is a weight based system, where you pick the cakes from the selections on display, and you tell the size of slice you would like from these large square-sized cakes.
They have so many varieties, so if you are feeling a little indecisive, you can ask for a taste sample. My favourite selections are cookies and cream, tiramisu, and Kurtosh's signature long-and-hollow Hungarian sweet bread with coconut and cinnamon topping.
There are also a few different seating areas available, with small Italian-like caf style at the front, or a casual meeting vibe on benches and high tables at the back.
The best thing about this place is the staffs are incredibly friendly.
I just love this place. Their chimneys are very delicious and come in all kinds of flavours. I totally recommend trying the cinnamon and apple one, in my opinion it is the best. Additionally the owner is really friendly and makes very good strong coffee.
