Great little french bistro. I've been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner (not all at once) and have always enjoyed my meals. The lunch and dinner dishes can be pretty rich, so three courses will leave you feeling really full.

The restaurant isn't air-conditioned so coming on a hot summer's evening proved to be very uncomfortable. They had all the fans going, but I do remember it to be one of the hottest nights that summer. We've also dined outside on a cold night and whilst they had pretty decent heaters, it was still a little chilly.

I wouldn't let any of the heating/cooling issues get to you though. Food and service is done well and is a great spot for a casual french meal.

I have eaten here on several occasions and couldn't recommend it more! Its a fancy french restaurant with out being obnoxious. The prices are worth what you receive. I have tried many French Restaurants in Sydney CBD, and nothing compares to this little establishment on Darling St, Balmain. I would highly recommend the chicken liver parfait as an entree, The Lamb Neck as a main and you cant go past the chocolate marquise ( i hope this is spelt correctly) for desert.
The staff are absolutely delightful and I always know that I will be getting top notch service when dining here!
    A definate place to visit!

Had lunch there the other day, the service and food were great, although drinks are a bit exey, and $10 corkage is a steep. Only real complaint was that all the windows and doors were open and the noise of busy Darling St was a bit much, specially when the buses went past.

Have been living in nearby for a few years now but only recently made the effort to try out this French restaurant. Went in for the dinner special - which is $60 for three courses. Definitely worth it as the meals were delicious and the services attentive without being in your face. Had oysers, veal and of course escargot - all delicious.

A little piece of France in Rozelle. Beautiful homely bistro food, attentive and friendly service. My favourite restaurant in Sydney's inner west

Great local restaurant with fantastic ambience and cosmopolitan vibe. Very french menu which personally is too heavy and rich for my taste, but if you're into it, everything is done very nicely. An amuse bouche of a garlic snail is served after you order, and the desserts are particularly good. Toilets are strangely located outside the restaurant behind the kitchen, which is not particularly premium. A great addition to the West Rozelle strip.
