    I am very disappointed in the customer service at Lady at Bay Neutral Bay! I was a loyal customer going in for waxing every few weeks.. I bought a product last time I went and the staff forgot to charge me for said product and without me realising, or obviously them, I was not charged for the product. The following day I had a voicemail asking to please call them, nothing advising that they will just charge my Credit Card anyway.. I didnt receive the voicemail until the afternoon as I was offline and in meetings at work all day. I would have come into the store to pay cash and instead of even giving me a chance to call them back (only 6 hours)! Very poor customer service and I will NEVER go back. Of course I understand that I have to pay for the product, however they didnt even give me a chance to! So disappointed at how I was treated

      We'd like a fair go, too! It was simply an unfortunate oversight that you weren't charged before you took the product home. Mistakes happen occasionally. Once the mistake was identified, we gave you a courtesy call and left a message on your mobile letting you know we needed to put the charge through. After getting no response, we charged the credit card you gave us. (I do wonder why you would give us details of a credit card that you didn't want us to use?) Obviously we're disappointed that you're unhappy but we did what ANY other business would have done - charge you for the product you had in your possession and for which you had not paid. I uphold the actions of my staff and am disappointed that you couldn't eek out the teeniest tolerance for the staff who have always shown you the greatest care and respect and who were just doing their job when they charged you post-purchase.       As advised to the staff, you didn't even give me TIME to call back, which at any other company would be a common courtesy, & as a business, I would assume you would have been all over this. I completely understand that accidents do happen, however this could all have been avoided IF you gave me time to call back & the courtesy of waiting at least by COB! FYI I called back 5 hours after I had a voicemail from your staff. How I use my credit cards is NONE of your business, It was given to you as your requirements, which I actually respected, it was to be used ONLY for the $1 pending booking fee at your store, not for purchases! You have automatically, as per the other negative posts below, become personal/defensive in this situation without actually thinking about the issue at hand & inevitably, your business..

    Disappointing experience. Recently relocated from the U.S., I was looking for a new skin care salon. Reviews were generally good. Website has no or very vague prices. Made the appointment online which was easy and fine. Asked for the price of a very basic facial and was told they would analyze my skin and THEN tell me the cost. Fine. I assumed a basic facial couldn't be more than $65-85, even considering Australian prices. When I arrived I was asked to fill out numerous forms as part of a consultation, which I refused at one point because I had no intention of doing IPL. Never asked for it or even mentioned it. Again, I asked for pricing for a basic facial. They then took me into the spa room and cleaned my face at which point I AGAIN said very directly that I needed to know what this charge would be. They then told me the very bottom line facial was $155!! At this point I was angry because I was stuck. I'm in a towel, in the treatment room, what am I supposed to do?! They didn't want me to be angry so they told me they'd offer me a one time only first time customer price of $95. NO extractions. NO steam. NO massage. NOT relaxing. Nothing at all special about this $95 "facial." A few creams and an exfolliant. Nothing that I don't do regularly at my own home. I saw NO benefits and felt taken advantage of. Truly disappointed. This was not the place.

Your issue with price appears unjustified: your facial cost $95 and included a skin diagnosis, deep cleanse, mask, exfoliation, massage plus a FREE eyebrow wax (worth $23), the value of which would appear to be within your stated budget. Extractions and steam are bad for your skin and were contra-indicated. We strive to ensure clients achieve positive improvements and consistently do that by delivering high standards of technical competency by highly qualified, experienced and caring staff. We are a Medispa using advanced medical grade technologies and skin care, so it is impossible to provide cheap facials as our serums alone can cost from $20 up to $60.     Disappointing. Being charged $72 because I cant make my appointment due to being called into work. They only offer to reschedule on the day?. Pretty bad, charging people for appointments they cant even attend/pretty much force the client to book.

      Lady At Bay is a caring business with standards and treatments that cannot be sourced elsewhere and therapists who are Sydney's most qualified and awarded. We only have time to sell and our time is in demand, so it's precious. You chose us because we are a prestige business and you are aware of our cancellation policy. You also received an appointment reminder. We do understand that last minute changes occur and you were offered alternative times after work - our busiest time - which you refused. When our other clients are called into work at the last minute they explain to their boss that they have a chargeable appointment that they can't miss; they alter their appointment time and let the boss know how soon they can get to work. Perfectly acceptable and no problems. You had a number of choices but appear not to have made any effort. When you make anonymous rants, you devalue yourself, waste your employer's time and alienate yourself from a quality service. Lesley Morgan-Wesson, Owner

    I've been a client of Lady at Bay for a few years now and have absolutely enjoyed every visit. The therapists are unfailingly warm and courteous and are experts in their field. A session here is guaranteed to soothe and relax and have you walking out the door looking and feeling your best. I can personally recommend the O2 Ultimate Madonna Facial....it's really made a positive difference to my skin.

    Lady At Bay is Sydney's leading Anti-Ageing & beauty centre & has received many awards to prove it. The reason our therapists are so good is because we train them to be. We set exacting standards, which even therapists who are supposedly very experienced fail to reach. Our best staff are still here and they're still training so nothing's changed, except clients are happier with our current more mature & friendly team and the changes have made the business stronger. The 2 ex-staff have never been requested, proving yet again we have our finger on the pulse of market expectations.     Lady at Bay has always been expensive, however the therapist were worth. That is until recently when all the therapists I preferred left. I'm not sure whats going. I'm going to look for another beautician.

    I have been to so many salons I have lost count. Every salon is the same I walk in the door have my treatment and walk back out, it feels like im just part of a factory line. That was until I found Lady At Bay, they made me feel as though they actually care about what is best for me and gave me so much professional advise. The therpaists are all amazing at what they do and you can tell they are well eductated. Thank you so much Lady At Bay for caring about ME.

    I'm so happy that I've finally found a salon that offers quality treatments that really improve my skin.I had a treatment at Lady At Bay 5 days ago and they completely got rid of my red cheeks in 1 treatment. I am ecstatic!The therapists do care & have so much knowledge that they're happy to share.They have some of the best products (I think)in the world,and they have the latest equiptment & treatments to deliver the best results. I wont go anywhere else now because I know Lady At Bay are the best in quality treatments,service and results.Thankyou Lady At Bay so much for finally taking away my red cheeks!

    As a male,there are things that concern me when going to a salon.Will I feel comfortable?Will the staff treat me respectfully?Will I get results?When I first went to Lady At Bay,I was warmly welcomed & instantly felt relaxed. I feel uneasy when I go somewhere new, but at Lady At Bay,theres an instant feeling of serenity.The staff are very kind & friendly.I was treated with utmost respect. Before my massage my legs were so painful I could hardly walk. A very friendly therapist gave me a massage after which,with much surprise,I walked with much more ease. It was the best massage Ive ever had!I was filled with so much confidence that when I was feeling a lot of pain in my back & neck last week, I didnt hesitate to go to Lady At Bay.Again,I was warmly welcomed & had a massage with another excellent therapist & felt brand new!This is the one & only salon that I will trust.With such a positive atmosphere & very friendly staff,I highly recommend Lady At Bay to everyone,both male & female!
