    Great lunch on the weekend!! Service was good, food tasty... shame about the weather - but you cannot control that! We will be back! i recommended their chips - crunchy and salty, but not over the top!

    Won't be back despite the beautiful setting. Food was ordinary - vegetable frittata was stodgy and tasteless, chips dry and floury, salad basic. BLT stingy. "Strawberry" pancakes - half a strawberry on 2 reheated cardboard-like pancakes - at least the accompanying cream and ice cream was adequate. Management was not interested in listening to any comments..... hence the review. Coffee was adequate. Nearly $50 bill for two people for food we hardly ate as we left most of it on the plates. Had booked for a Christmas lunch for 12, but have since cancelled. .

    Have been going to the lake every wednesday and always look forward to the coffee at the cafe. Food is simple fare, good for a toasted sandwich and not so great for the burgers though they could be excellent if they upgraded the meat patty (bought frozen patties have that distinctively awful taste ...)
    Wonderful location worth going back for..

    A group of nine of us went to the Parramatta Lake Cafe and the service and food was quite good. The gentleman that I think was the owner was very friendly and helpful. The waitresses did a fine job but lacked English speaking skills so we couldn't involve them in conversation to anything more than our orders. We are and older group of citizens and love talking to anyone and particuarly the staff of the restaurants we visit. The food was very nice and a good size protion but the presentation a little bit of a let down, as the plates were way too small, which made the steak and lamb cutlets difficult to cut. Overall the service was good, the food good and the setting beautiful. Thank you for an enjoyable afternoon, we'll be back.

    The food you expect at home and the picturesque surrounds you wish were your own! The staff are friendly and with 12ha of bushland to enjoy, you can easily walk off what you've eaten.
