Angela told me that the Laksa in Laksa King is very nice so we drove all the way from Clayton to Flemington to try. Service was horrible, after sitting us down we were told that we have to order now as kitchen is closing in 5min. They should have told us when we walk in they are closed. I was really let down and disappointed with our Combination Laksa. Small portion, not spicy, no coconut milk in it all though it look milky and our Nasi Lemak was really not nice. Achar was not sour at all, the rice and beef rendang was nice but not spicy. Isnt it suppose to be spicy. I was appalled at the rate they try to chase us out. As we finished one bowl of food, waiter came to remove our bowl and plonked the bill on our table. What poor manners... My friend Angela doesnt complain much abt food commented that the food is horrible and wont come back. What a horrible experience at Laksa King!!!!!!!!

Best vegetarian laksa I have ever had. Massive bowls, reasonable price, super fast service. Tables are too close together as the place is always really packed

Hands Down the best Malaysian in Melbourne. You only have to drive past ANY night of the week to see the queue from Flemington Rd. What started as a small little shop front with a discreet dining area mainly frequented for takeaway has recently morphed into a destination with a proper sit-down atmosphere now drawing in more diners. The food is still amazing and keeping with the name, Laksa is always a great choice. There are so many different dishes to choose from youll most certainly need a bit of time to digest the menu. The Roti Rolls are amazing definitely try their satay sauce too; great for dipping. Despite the queues, the food always comes out fast. If youre after takeaway and in a rush be sure to pre-order. It will most definitely be waiting for you when you arrive. Laksa King is definitely a place youll try once and visit with your friends later.

One of Melbourne's best kept secrets - although the lines of people waiting for a seat on pretty much any night of the week tells me the secret is out for sure! Eat in or take away - bang for buck, you'd be hard pressed to find better food anywhere in Melbourne town.

We both had curry laksa, and the prawn has too much tenderiser that it tastes hard and funny. The price is good and there's not much crowd as we arrived 12.15pm. The noodles tasted a little chewy as if it has not been pre-boil before serving. 1 piece of half eggplant, 2 prawns,1 fried beancurd, noodles. Laksa taste rather diluted and not very thick.

This restaurant offers some extremely tasty meals at reasonable prices. The dishes are large and made from fresh ingredients. The staff are very friendly and service is prompt. I would highly recommend dining here if you are a fan of laksa.

Best Malaysian eating place. Well, not all the food though, the laksa menus are great, suits the name. I tried to order some other things like nasi lemak, and other side dishes, they are just average. If you miss laksa where they serve in Malaysia, don't book your ticket, just go to laksa king..

Have travelled Sth east Asia alot but have found this place to be the best curry laksa I have had. It is a must try, not much to look at but the food is great.

Despite being hidden in a grungy arcade, this laksa joint flourishes. Some of Melbourne's best chefs eat here. Join them. At least once.
