    Wait staff were friendly, yet service was terrible. Had Duck for an appetiser and was very dry and over cooked. I had the "Earth and Sea" and only had one bite from the steak as it was so chewy and tough. My husbands steak was the same. Dessert was yummy though. I'm not one to complain but I will not be going back. We were forgotten about and staff were aware our meals weren't satisfactory yet nothing was done.

    You cant fault this restaurant's location and we were here during a storm and it was ever so dramatic with the big black clouds hovering over the ocean while we ate dinner. We were here for a function and the service was pretty good but the food needs improvement. Its a little stuck in the 90s and could be simplified and freshened up a little. Anyway not a bad place to go if you are looking to get out of Brisbane but don't want to venture too far.

    Great venue. Service is good, even when busy. Extensive menu with something to suit most. Sunday lunch, sunny day - doesn't get much better than sitting out over the water.

    Was the last place my wife and I went before baby #3 arrived. The food was incredible the service was great and the location spectacular. Definitely a great place to take someone special.

    The lighthouse is one of my favourites. I have been coming here on and off for 12 years. The reason I know this is because I met my now wife there when our mutual friends had a night out at the bar. The place had a make over 2 or 3 years ago and was a great move. The old bar was great but the new bar is fantastic with a great restaurant that overlooks the bay.
    Sunday afternoons with a beer and a plate of chips is the best. Thanks for keeping the old architecture and traditions alive.

    You just can't beat the setting - such a great place to have a beer or wine on a lazy arvo and watch the sun set.
    Prices are a bit expensive so it a splurge day out!
    they have the nicest chips and mayo! OH MY GOD! I could eat them every day!
