Linda Magson gained the 2006 Outstanding Achievement Award from the Australian College of Applied Psychology and is a conference presenter and member of CAPA's Ethics Committee. She holds Clinical memberships of the Counsellors' and Psychotherapists' Association of NSW (CAPA) and the National Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). She has postgraduate qualifications in counselling, psychology, social communications, education and music.
