Malleefowl  These rare and fascinating mound-building birds, known as "Lowan" by Aboriginals, have for many years drawn visitors to the Little Desert from worldwide. Tours can be taken to see birds in the wild at our Malleefowl Sanctuary or visit the Malleefowl Aviary to observe our unique captive breeding program.  Night Spotlighting Tour  See nocturnal creatures of the bush including delightful Sugar Gliders, Bettongs and Stone-Curlews.
