The new owners of LJHooker Coolangatta Tweed are so great to work with, professional and efficient. They recently won Property Management Team 2012 award at quarterly recognition event, which I was impressed to see. The thing I like most about them is that the office has a great energy, they problem solve quickly and with good humour. I would recommend using anyone at the new LJHooker Coolangatta Tweed office for anything to do with real estate sales or property management if you want good communication, quality marketing and people genuinely interested in treating you well.

We are writing to express our dismay at the manner with which they have managed our property.

On gaining access to the property last Thursday (12 November 2009) our representative conducted a thorough inspection of the property and interview
    with the tenant.

Firstly, the tenant was not advised that an inspection would be taking place on that day. Evidence of this is the fact that, while promised on three separate
occasions from them, the advice that they say was sent to the tenant was never copied to us by post or email.

Our representative advised that the apartment is in a disgraceful state of repair; well beyond normal wear and tear. Review of the property file they gave our
representative makes no mention on any inspections by them of the property where notes have been taken to indicate the need for maintenance.

The tenant advised that they have written to them to request maintenance be undertaken on several occasions with no response from them and no notification to us.

With regard to acting on our behalf to ensure rent was paid on time we believe that they have failed on several occasions to effectively manage the tenant.

Almost every month rent was either late, insufficient or simply nonexistent. It was only at my request that legal action was instigated to bring the account up to
    date.

Part of their excuse for this was their administrative oversight in not updating the correct postal address for correspondence. I advised them by phone on 19 January 2009. This was effected to some degree as I continued to receive sales marketing material from their sales office and other agents in the area, however their own office failed to correctly make the required change.

This led to recent important communication being incorrectly addressed and subsequently not being received.
