    Probably would of eaten here if someone had of answered the phone so i could book a reservation!!!! I called over and over again with no answer!?!?! guess I'll take my money else where. not impressed.

    When they first opened 15 odd years ago the food was great. Huge portions and tasty. I went there the other night for my birthday, my God how it's changed! I ordered the Rib eye at some exuberant price and a side of Chili. The steak was laughable, and overcooked. The smallest, thinest piece of dried out meat I'd eaten in a long time. I didn't ask for another one as it was my b/ day and I wasn't paying. The chili was just a joke. Pretty embarrassing for my brothers who took care of the cheque. We had 14 people at the table and nothing was good. Such a shame, it used to not only great value, but taste good too. I'm one of 14 people who will never eat here again.
    Please take this on board as constructive criticism and get your act together- the way it use to be.

    The Lone Star Tavern is just plain horrible. Plenty of staff talking to each other, but heaven forbid you try to ask them to actually DO ANYTHING !!! The size of our meals were SO SMALL and the price SO HIGH. Do yourself a favour and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !!!! I will never ever ever return to this restaurant again. All I felt as I left was that I was RIPPED-OFF !!!! We are a large group of people that get together regularly to dine out, and for their short term gain in reality will be their long term loss. DON'T GO !!!!

    oh my gosh! the bbq pork ribs are to die fro yummzyss! i went there last friday night with a few girlfriends and by golly was so excited how cheap there cocktails are $5 buxs!! the meals are abit dear but hey there ribs not mince rissoles!!

    I have got to say, we LOVE this place, every birthday or fathers day we will always frequent Lone star! the ribs are to die for, i dont know what the smokey sauce is but damn! you can drink it its that good! and if it is your 'birthday' and you dont mind getting serenaded, you get a free slice of chocolate mud cake! mmm... I believe kids eat free on Mondays, so if you have kids check it out, and if not, i suggest you AVOID it! Not alot of parking, but the new exit/entrance does make it easier to manouver.

    Expect a short walk from your car if you have dinner here as there isn't enough parks right out front. We've never turned up without an booking and been able to get straight in - usually there is a 15-30 minute wait for dinner (so book!) The quality of food is great, although the staff don't really seem to be enjoying themselves when they do that line dancing stuff. A consistently good place to take the kids, especially on Monday nights when kids eat free.

    Wonderful juicy steaks cooked to your exact liking. I personally go for the combo meals like "Steak & Chicken". Very mouthwatering!!! And the meals come with the biggest salad with your choice of salad dressing.

    Watch out for the bootscooting waiting staff! Great entertainers!
