Mad Mex serves gourmet Baja-Mexican food. Baja (pronounced bah-ha) refers to the peninsula of land extending south of California into Mexico and the Pacific Ocean, and the food from this part of the world blends traditional bold Mexican flavours with the health-conscious cuisine of California. The result is a flavourful and healthy choice of tacos, burritos, nachos and quesadillas filled with roast, grilled and slow-cooked meats and black beans, all perfectly complimented by fresh produce and hand-made salsas.     Good service, great burritos. Bit expensive though, but you'll not find better Mexican food in Sydney than at Mad Mex.

    I love having burritos for lunch - without the rice and beans it's not too bad either. Sometimes there's a wait and the beans (when I have them) are often undercooked.

    It's disgusting how much I eat there. I guess it is exactly what it advertises - fast mexican food. Found other places to deliver dull food. And if they don't, they want to call themselves "gourmet" and an extra $5. I don't want gourmet - I just want juicy spicy beef tacos!

    I can't really explain why I love Mad Mex so much- but it's filling, spicy and delicious. I never leave here hungry. It's a similar feel to nandos- where you feel like it is a mixture of fast food and casual dining. I love the burritos... Add a bit of avo and it's amazing! If you don't feel like a corona, there are non alcoholic drinks too- try their Mexican imports such as the Guava soda. It's so sweet you question its compliance with Australian standards.
    All round one of my fav chains. Ola!

    Good Mexican-American style burritos are the specialty here. Great value if you have a student card at $9.90 for burrito and drink. $2 extra for guacamole is off-putting. If it was $1 everyone would get it and you'd have economies of scale. Anyway, the burritos are good but your enjoyment often depends on the skill of the roller. A bad roll and you'll have a messy time.
