    This is by far the worst hostel I have ever stayed in, for many reasons. Firstly on our arrival, the staff there were useless. We booked in and got to our room but could not work out which beds were available, as they all had things on them. When we went downstairs to ask staff came up, said they didn't know, that we should take a bed but if we steal someone else's then it is not their fault. They also failed to tell us where anything was, toilets, kitchen, etc and did not mention that we'd have to use a code to get in the door, and if we had not asked somebody else, we would have been locked out. Later on in the day, another staff were on reception and we asked them for a pillow as one of the beds we'd taken didn't have one on. They told us there weren't any, and did absolutely nothing to help. We then realised that most things in the hostel ar broken. In the kitchen one oven works, out of 4 or 5, and a few hobs do not either, and the fridge was turned off for around 2 days while we were there. The level of cleanliness is disgusting. Nobody did washing up, food was left lying around in pans for days, and bins were over flowing. The kitchen could not have been cleaned once during our stay and we were there Thursday-Monday.
    The real thing that made this particular stay miserable was the fact that my boyfriend had a bag missing. We were out for the day, and whilst we were out their hand luggage bag had gone, which has his ipod, mobile phone and ipod speakers in. The hostel was not particularly secure, as front doors were left open through out the day, as well as bedroom doors. We would have placed the valuables in a locker, but the only secure lockers available, cost $1, everytime you open them. The management on duty looked through cctv footage once we'd told them, however there is a camera above our bedroom door and apparently that did not work apparently. The same evening a woman walked in the door and picked up a laptop that was left in reception and walked out.
