This funky new salon nestled in the North Eastern suburbs of Adelaide is a testament to salon owners Michael and Jodie Zerella. Only open for 19 months Mahiki Hair has already established itself as a city style meets burbs salon with its opening times being very popular (Open 3 nights a week - 9am till 9pm Tues - Thurs and Fri & Sat 9am - 6pm). 

Keeping the interior of the salon symmetrical, the clean lines of the blue glass top benches and the custom designed and made stainless steel foot rests all compliment the dark chocolate benches and wood grain floor boards which all come together to impress Mahiki Hair's clients and passes by alike. 

The relaxed atmosphere of the salon can be felt the moment you walk in, which is influenced by the smell of freshly made espresso's to the pleasant sound of Cuban Latino music to the choice of an assortment of fashion magazines.  

Mahiki Hair prides itself on professionalism, hard work and persistence. This was evident in the recent Hair & Beauty SA championships held at the Hilton International Grand Ballroom last Sunday night (26th July 2009) where Jodie Zerella Mahiki Hair's Creative Director and Jessica Beltrame competed with over 300 other competitors to take home an amazing 8 wards out of the possible 11 entered. In addition Mahiki Hair was also recently voted the top 3 salons in the North-North East Region of Adelaide at the Local Business Awards Gala Dinner also which was also held at the Hilton International Hotel on the Saturday 11th July 2009.
