Reviews of Mancinis Pizzeria and Cafe Restaurant

Business choice review
My family and friends love Mancinis! We go at least once a month and are never dissapointed. The pasta is fantastic and their meal sizes are great too. Staff are always friendly, and we've never once waited too long, even when they are busy.

I am in LOVE with this restaurant. I just had my birthday there on the 28th of January. The food is out of this world. It's better than Criniti's at the Harbour. Best Italian food in Sydney. The workers are very nice too and never let you thik negatively about the service. The wait of food is fantastic and I've never had to ask the eprson next tome : "what the hold up with the food?".
Whenever I go to a Restaurant and order a jug of water, the waiters bring out a jug of water and glasses for all. At Mancini'c however, the waitress brought out the water and poured it out for everyone in their glasses. She was jujst the sweetest. I cant remember her name, but she was really really nice!
Overall, im really satisfied with them and the services they provide.
And the food is simply AMAAAAAZING!

Delivery time took too long only live 3 minutes away. The topping on their pizza and pasta doesn't look attractive at all. For some reason they seem to use frozen produce such as their seafood toppings. I was really disappointed.

For no reason other than, I like to stay home, I have only ever had food delivered to me from this restaurant. The fact that you can request that the delivery driver come with an efptos machine is also a clincher. BUT the first time I ate the beef lasagne was the real clincher for me. It was AMAZING! The lasagne was better than any home made lasagne I have ever had and had no visible fat. The staff member I spoke to was exceptionally pleasant too. After this wonderful experience, I was going to become a repeat customer so I called them up and was advised that the kitchen had burnt down and if I didnt mind waiting for food to be delivered from a different store (Summerhill or Dulwich hill) then I could proceed with my order...with my amazing experience in mind I thought whats an hour? and proceeded with the order. Honestly, the food was very mediocre, not terrible but not wonderful either. I have since tried one more time in the hope that the mediocre food was a once off- but the mediocrity has been consistent. So Im hoping that once the Burwood store starts trading again they will return to their former glory.

A pleasant place, not too noisy if you you go earlier (expect it gets noisy later in the evening). Good range of typical Italian food, fair value for money (about $20 per head for a simple dinner - no alcohol). General welcoming attitude to a 5 year old was much appreciated. Particular stand-out was staff attention to detail - an orange juice which was part of a "kids menu" standard item didn't arrive, and the staff offered a nice small cake instead when they realised as we left about this oversight.

toppings on the pizza were quite generous. could improve on their delivery. We had to wait over an hour and half for pizzas and the pizzas were only slightly warm by the time they got to our place and they forgot part of the order. will probably try them again although we might do pick up instead!

I really think this place is a tad overrated!! I will expalin....you usually wait on average 30 mins for take away and forget home delivery, they are so so slow!!! Much better to eat in, better food and service. Their pizzas are ok, nothing special, some don't have much taste, e.g. chicken avacardo and some at times don't seem fresh e.g. bruschetta pizza (my fav :( ) Pastas are very average, nothing you expect from an 'Italian' restaurant.
My pasta on several occasions was gluggy and overcooked, and staff really didn't seem to care.

I feel like a Mancini's pizza now. Yum,yum. It is a little busy at times but worth the wait. Want to try the pasta next time as I have not had a chance. Has anyone else?

delectible pizzas yummmmooooooooooo....... love them. The service can be alittle slow, only because it gets so busy because everyone wants Mancinis pizza, so its a good idea to order over the phone and pick up. Regardless of it being a little slow the customer service is fantastic and everyone is friendly. I love how it's such a young but mature crowd who serve! I also love eating in , the atmosphere is so lively!
