We had a girls lunch here on Australia Day for my friends birthday and we had such a nice time. We had the 'gold booth' which had a great view out to the beach. We did a set menu which started with some tasty starters such as grilled mushrooms, gourmet sausage rolls, and crispy salt and pepper squid - always a winner. I have to say that mains were a little disappointing I thought. Half of us had the snapper, which was enjoyable but the vegetables it came with just weren't very exciting - more like your steamed veggies you'd cook up at home for yourself. The other girls chose the chicken salad, which to me didn't look that amazing either. Did enjoy them though they just weren't as good when compared to the starters and the dessert. Ohh the dessert - the chocolate brownie, with ice cream and fairy floss on top with chocolate sauce. Oh my that was delicious! As was the panna cotta with sorbet. We shared between two which was a great balance between the super chocolatey goodness of the brownie and the summery fruity freshness of the panna cotta. The decor is fun and exciting (similar to their other two restaurants) and the service was great.

Top notch service with a gorgeous setting, very similar to sister restaurants/bars in Surry Hills and Elizabeth Bay. Overlooking the beach, and only a ferry ride from Circular Quay - checking into this establishment any evening should be on the to dos of any locals, Sydney-siders and tourists.

I had been meaning to go for lunch at Manly Wine sine it opened over a year ago, but didn't get around to it until invited my a friend on Sunday. I wish I had have come sooner! Quality winesand a great atmosphere make for a relaxing way to spend a Sunday arfternoon.
The chicken, orange and goats cheese salad with roasted beetroot was light, delicious and a perfect combination of flavours. Followed by one of Manly Wine's signature rose cocktails, this lunch was a perfect way to end a great week. If you aren't driving make sure you do some wine tasting, they have a very extensive wine cellar and some experienced sommeliers to guide you through their collection. All in all, Manly Wine is a classy and modern beach front location to spend a long afternoon lunching with friends. Defintely high on the recommendation list, I'm looking forward to going back again soon.

After visiting the Winery at Surry Hills and Gazebo at Elizabeth Bay and loving both, Manly Wine had A LOT of pressure on it. The ferry ride over there is completely worth it, just to sit in the beautifully decorated restaurant with a view of Manly beach. The interiors featured a stuffed peacock (so pretty), which keeps with the quirky theme of the other two wineries, along with the similar (possibly the exact same) menus, all accompanied with the same great service. The stuffed mushrooms is the most perfect way to start your meal, stuffed with ricotta and pine nuts, it is honestly one of the reasons I make myself a regular. And the best way to end your meal? The fairy floss brownie! Ive had actual conversations with friends about our communal love for the fairy floss brownie, its amazing! Im thinking the next sunny weekend, I might have to bypass my Surry Hills local and enjoy a wine at the beach.

I had dinner here a few weeks back with some girlfriends and I loved every moment of the experience; the wine list, the decor and even the guy walking around with the cheese platter!

The staff are switched on, friendly and make you feel very welcome. Love it, highly recommended and definitely going back!

    Ultimate Sydney

The latest addition to the Gazebo family of achingly hip wine emporiums, Manly Wine inhabits the ground floor of the beachfront Sebel Hotel. From the Garden den-inspired décor to the extensive wine and cocktail lists to the sound of waves crashing on pristine Manly beach, you’d be hard pressed to find a better waterside watering hole. Well worth the ferry trip.
