Family dinner for Christmas 2012, terrible service, horrible food, very ordinary, the prices certainly are not ordinary, not worth eating at. As for the drinks, seem they do not know the difference between lemonade and water from the tap.
Walked in and thought the menu looked pretty good. and were looking for a nice pub meal. Apart from the usual schnizels, & roast of the day that were priced around $15 they had a more expensive selection to choose from, which unfortunatley we did! Ordered a $22 Chicken Breast wrapped in bacon served on a Pumkin Risotto. Sounds good?....NOT what I got. "Chicken" and "bacon" were manufactured meats, you know when the taste is watery, not juicy and the shape just wasn't quite right. "Risotto" was overboiled tasteless rice with some small soggy pumpkin cubes. Then to top it off, they liberally doused the lot with a sweet chilli sauce, clearly straight from the bottle. YUK! Partner's $22 serve of Crumbed Prawns were deep-fried to a dark brown - dry and let's not talk about the quality of the 8 prawns. Come on ... if you are going to charge $22 at least get some fresh produce and maybe whip up a homemade sauce or two! We have voted with our feet and will NEVER return!
