    Haven't been here for a while but still as impressive as ever. Perfect coffee, relaxed and comfy setting, enticingly cute confectionaries. Even open on Good Friday with chocolate eggs on sale.

    Love the coffee! Got a few duds sometimes with the coffee being too sweet or too watery but most of the time, one of the best. The chocolate melt is divine! It's a little hard to get a place here since the cafe is very popular with the locals.

    Frankly I don't find the coffee at this place that great. The service is tepid at times (really depends who you get served by) - sometimes ok, other times quite surly. Haven't tried their food (so can't vouch for that) but am not overly impressed with either their coffee or service. There are much better cafes elsewhere on Glenferrie Rd.

    Very popular Hawthorn coffeehouse, under the train bridge, in Glenferrie Road. Has survived in a very competitive street when others have disappeared. Enjoy a coffee and chat in the dim interiors or relax outside on one of the tables.
    Popular with both the locals and Uni crowd. Some snack food available but this is THE place for a good cup of coffee in Hawthorn. Recently underwent a renovation that didn't change it too much and thankfully retained its atmosphere. Sell exotic chocolates and biscuits that make good gifts too and of course specialised coffee beans for those who like to brew their own.
