Located in the heart of the Gouger Street food and market district, the Maya Masala Indian Restaurant is an exotic blend of fantastic fragrant food, ambiance inspired by rich culture and all topped off with excellent service. Our Chefs are hand picked from India and are skilled in more than the normal Indian food.

We are the only Indian Restaurant in South Australia offering the variety of dishes of North Indian, South Indian, Tandoori, Mughlai and Kashmiri cuisine. A favourite with the locals as well as visitors, you will often find the Maya Masala Indian Restaurant alive with the buzz of warm conversation celebrated with tantalizing spices and flavours.

You must try our sweets as we are also the only restaurant to create our own sweets.

    Fantastic Indian food, much tastier than any of the Indian available on Gouger St, definitely worth walking down the side street. I disagree with Jonathon8, it's certainly cheaper than British India and The Village, both on Gouger St. Last time I went with some mates, we had our own Indian banquet for about $25 per person, including naan, curries and rice.

    I would rate this as one of the best Indian Restaurants in Adelaide. It is set in Adelaide's little 'India Town', and has authentic flavours. Excellent vegetarian selection with Paneer and Lassis you've got to try. Also their chai masala for desert is a must.
