    WE purcghase a rental property and got Bob to come and inspect the premises, he really knew what he was doing and gave us some really great advice on what to do now and what we could do at a later date. He gave us a and completed the work on time and within budget. Bob is now the only electrician we will use his polite, friendly and prompt service is fantastic and to top off this off he sticks to his quotes unless something unforseen arises then he explains the issue and requotes which is also what happened with another job he did for us. Great service!!!

      I should say that they finally got back to me saying they have too much business to service it punctually. They also said the callout fee for an electrician is $88 and labour for an electrician is charged at $143/hour. This seems very expensive but I don't have a huge amount of experience with electricians in Brisbane so possibly it's reasonable. Personally, I will be throwing away my appliances rather than pay $231 to have someone around for one hour.

      Our sincere apologies, your experience is certainly not typical of the service we pride ourselves on delivering to our customers. While there is never any excuse for disappointing a customer, our email did offer both an explanation and our apology. Our internet server experienced technical difficulties last week, preventing us from accessing emails, it was in no way a case of us "having too much business to service it punctually", we value our customers greatly.
      Thank you for bringing to our attention an error in the charge out rates you were quoted. The rate quoted was in fact for an electrician & his apprentice. As per our email, the hourly rate is charged in 15 minute lots. If our staff are onsite for 15 minutes you pay for 15 minutes. Under no circumstances would you "pay to have someone around for one hour".
      We appreciate you taking the time to let us know of your disappointment so that we may learn from it and improve our service in the future.

    Bob was very polite and punctual. I hate when you make an appointment with Tradies and they do not turn up. Our bathroom reno went to plan with Bob working in with the other tradies. I recommend McAlister Electrical 100%.

    After asking 3 companies to quote on having fans installed in my units, Angela @ McAlister was only one to respond (on the same day), on the day Bob and Warwick turned up on time (even slightly early) and installed the fan with ease. they were polite and friendly, even stayed back to install one fan that we had to exchange with the retailer because it was faulty. Will use this team for all electricial work that i require in the future and will reccommend to everyone i know.

    Really disappointed. Made arrangements to fix an electrical fault a week early, and no show. Not happy.

      We would like to sincerely apologise for this mornings "no show", it is certainly not typical of the service we pride ourselves on delivering to our customers and we appreciate you taking the time to let us know so we can improve in the future.
      While there are never any excuses for disappointing a customer please allow us to offer an explanation. Unfortunately a new member of staff made an error when entering your booking into our electronic calendar by not hitting save before she exited the system. When Bob and Warwick received your phone message this morning I believe they contacted you and have attended to the electrical fault at your property.
      Once again please accept our apology for this mistake and for any inconvenience it may have caused you and thank you once again for letting us know. I hope you will trust us again in the future.

      McAlister Electrical professionally reacted to the mishap. These things to unfortunately happen. And for me, it was an appointment at 630AM. Bob responded very swiftly after the message I left on his mobile and fixed my electrical problem in no time. ANother thing I would suggest is to maybe include your mobile number/after hours access on your official website in case this happens again and someone doesn't know to get it from Truelocal.com.au

    Thank you so much for responding so quickly and professionally to our need to have some ceiling fans and a new light installed. Taking time out of your own weekend to service the needs of others when you were too busy to drop by during the week impressed us greatly.     We recently had a solar panel system installed on our house by McAlister Electrical. We really didn't know what sort of system would be best for us nor did we want the system to be visible from the front of our house. After a call to Bob, he came on site provided us with expert advice on what system would suit our energy needs and went out of his way to ensure the system delivered us the maximum return on our investment while meeting our needs to not have the system on the street facing roof of our house.

    Once we decided to proceed, we set a date and even with the wet weather we have all experienced, the system was installed on the date we agreed. Bob and his team when they installed our new system, they also suggested a number of other power saving initiatives that will add extra savings onto of the solar panels installed.

    We were extremely happy with the system and was pleasantly surprise with the follow to make sure that the system was operating to its maximum effectives and that we were happy with the installed. Of course, we couldn't have been happier.

    I called Bob when driving behind him in the traffic after seeing his phone number on the side of his car. We were near our house at the time, so he offered to drop in straight away to see what needed to be done. After scoping the work, he came back a few days later to complete the job. Hard working, courteous and no fuss... a fine example of going the extra mile to give excellent service !

    McAlister Electricial arrive on time!!, are courteous, do the job properly, only need to be told once - in English, are very tidy, and a great price! What more does one need from electricians.Thought this kind of 'tradie' disappeared long ago - now have them on Speed-dial.Highly recommend giving them a try.
