Yup thats right gone, the ease of the Medibank claim, just walk in sit down with documents and in the bank account it goes. Nope, not any more.
Closed!!! Just for some unforseen reason they also just close at Erina Fair, so ring before you make the effort to go in they maybe closed. Now thats just not fair.
Do not supply bank details or sign up for the secure online transaction service. Yup, they then send out in the mail, your bank details and your login details.
Thats right, BSB, Account and then the secure login and password details of your internet transaction service.
Whats more i just today get told unofficially that the documentation i supposedly lodged 3 weeks ago, was not sufficient to finalise my claim; via return email, after 6 e-mails to customer service and 6 generic replies.
Now this is after the fact that i was telephoned by the branch supervisor 2hours after my lodging documents, supervisor told me all was sent to be finalised within three days. After supplying EFT details i could only get a cheque?
I have however since submitting the claim, received by post, two official letters containing thank you for registering bank details for EFT and signing up to internet service, complete with bank details and login passwords inside.
So people i would say this un to you, get your private health insurance somewhere else, please do get it, but after 13 years i would now strongly syggest you take your business elsewhere.
