I wish to convey some important feedback based on my first-hand experience with Melbourne Kebab Station, over the last three years of my continual support of their food!
Starting off I wish to congratulate the family business and the starters of this long standing, well known and iconic kebab house!
Unfortunately, the lady that serves me, that always manages a sincere/genuine smile when I collect my takeaway order, that makes me feel happy about spending my money on quality Turkish food cannot save the following comments from being posted and thanks to the power of the human voice (through words and the world wide web/social media).
- In the three years of my, at least, fortnightly visits to collect take away/eat in, I have not once received well rounded service from the point of order to the pay here production line in the shop
- There are staff members of the team that (after a lot of observation) absolutely bring down the customer service and attitude of the hardworking management and co. My name is Fran I have ordered over the phone, Id say about 50 or more times and spent probably well over $2000, feeding my housemates and myself. Each time I make the phone call to order my food I am asked to spell my name as I completely understand is a different name to hear on the phone. Over a few years of ordering my food I tried to make it easier for the individual on the other end by leaving my name and spelling it out, eg. Whats the name please? Sure, Its Fran, F for flower etc
- For the last 4-5 months, I have been directly ridiculed when I walked in, each time, to pick up my take away order. Staff members have indirectly (spoken amongst themselves quite loudly) teased and mocked me, a customer, about my name. I can understand the joke but please do not make a customer feel ridiculed, belittled and uncomfortable in your shop, which they have chosen to come to.
- As a long serving customer I feel like I have been singled out and targeted by the appalling customer service that some of the team members at Melbourne Kebab Station have decided to verbalise and show me.
As a local homeowner in Coburg and a resident of over 4 years, I will never be returning to Melbourne Kebab Station , unless some drastic customer service changes are made!
