    They failed to deliver what I had ordered and now refuse to refund me or return any calls!

    I made the mistake of ordering through this company for my family Christmas lunch, I ordered lots of seafood (over $300 worth) and was promised delivery on the the 23rd in the morning. I waited all day for this delivery, unable to leave the house for fear of missing the driver, called numerous times and left copious amounts of messages, no call back.
    On the 24th I finally had someone answer the phone and was assured the delivery was on its way and would be dropped off by lunchtime. Lunch came and went, frantic phone calls, messages etc... no response or courtesy call. Finally the delivery driver arrives at 3.30ish with a quarter of my order. They verified the order was missing a large portion of it, I was so disappointed, I had to rush around to the market to buy enough food to feed my family on Christmas Day.
    Not only am I severely out of pocket because I had to purchase the food twice because Melbourne Seafoods have still not refunded my money but I have wasted days and days chasing up them.
    Do yourselves a favour and DO NOT purchase anything from this company.

    They left a box of fish to rot on my doorstep while we were away over the Xmas weekend.

    I made an online order 19/12/2011 expecting it to be delivered 21/12 by the delivery dates described on their website. Got nothing.
    I left a voice mail that afternoon. Nothing.
    I left voice mails several times 22/12 and finally got to talk to a human who said it would be delivered Friday "at the latest".
    Friday: got nothing. Rang and got no answer. Not even the chance to leave another voice mail.
    We left Saturday at 11 to visit family (who sniped the entire weekend about the lack of the fish course I was supposed to bring.)
    We get back on Monday to find a box of stinking fish and oysters.
    I rang and left another message. Nothing.
    They don't answer emails either. Not happy about this at all.

      Hello, Have you managed to contact them to resove this issue, I am in the same boat but the phone is disconnected. Any advise would be appreciated.

      Hi, I ordered using PayPal so I raised a complaint through them and they credited my money back.
      Good luck. Melbourne Seafoods are a horrible company to deal with

    promised delivery on friday 23rd december, it did not arrive, went to their store twice on the 24th and assured that our delivery was on board with the staff, and no need to purchase more in lieu, and if we didnt get it by 3pm to ring and it would be hand delivered personally 6pm on the 24th, no delivery, no one answering the phones. NOT IMPRESSED. Has spoilt our annual family christmas lunch. have bought from them for years, very very disappointing!!

      I found Melbourne Seafoods to be a great company offering quality seafood, happy and friendly staff and service. However, recently this has all gone down hill since the new management. Rude and no customer service skills. After my last visit to the shop i will no longer be returning as they left a very sour taste in my mouth.
