    MetroMovers recently came to assist us with our move from our warehouse style home to our new home.
    The tricky bit in the middle was that we were not going to be able to move into our new home for 6 weeks due to settlement.
    I was totally frantic about what I was going to do with my belongings in between the two settlement dates.
    There were quite a few companies that I called looking for information. They just didn't seem helpful. Then I called MetroMovers, and to tell you the truth, I must have kept that young lady on the phone for almost an hour. There were so many questions that I had and finally I had found someone who would listen to my queries.
    She went on to tell me all about how their storage worked and explained the many different safety levels that are in place to keep my goods safe while in storage.
    On completion of my call I had not a doubt in my mind that I was going to be in safe hands with MetroMovers for my move.
    As promised, I received my confirmation call day prior to my goods being collected.
    I was Very surprised to see the boys when they arrive. They were all smartly dresses in matching uniforms and were so pleasant to talk to.
    Straight away they began loading my items and they were done and on their way back to the storage in no time.
    Once they finished loading my items into the storage, I was called with the final invoice for payment and they told me to just give a call when I knew the exact day that my items would be required to be redelivered to my new home.
    They say that moving home is one of the most traumatic experiences in your life...
    If only I knew about the MetroMovers service a few years ago...
    A HUGE Thank-you to the wonderful office staff and an even bigger Thanks to the boys that moved my furniture.

    After reading up on some tricks and issues with other much cheaper companies, I decided to go with MetroMovers, which were a bit more expensive than other cheaper ones advertised, but there were no hidden fees (like fuel surcharges or packing up large items), no funny games like taking their time, no bad service, and no stress at all.

    Chris and James were absolutely great - they showed up on time and slogged away for 4 hours (in the rain on top of it!), not skipping a beat and not slowing down, despite the one property having two flights of stairs. They were very friendly, quite funny and extremely helpful, I couldn't have asked for anything more.

    From the booking on the phone to the actual move, I'm very happy to recommend MetroMovers to anyone out there looking to make this part of their move as stress-free as possible.

    Chris and the guys were absolutely fantastic. They handled all of our property with care and efficiency. They were extremely polite and helpful and we were very grateful to have such experienced and considerate guys to assist with our move. My husband and I were stressed as we were doing a simultaneous settlement and were very happy that at least we didn't have to worry about the move. All the furniture removalists showed a lot of care as they moved the furniture out of our apartment and again as they moved the furniture into our new house which had been newly painted with a new wood floor. I highly recommend this organization.

    I would like to provide you with some feedback on my moving experience with Metro Movers.

    Firstly, I had contacted a couple of places for quotes - most of whom where significantly over-quoting me and not taking the time to listen to what my needs were. A colleague suggested you (her family had used you and had very positive experiences). So - after a number of frustrating calls to other companies, I called and spoke with Belinda - who took the time to go through everything in detail with me - all of my needs and expectations. From that phone call alone, I booked the job on the spot.

    I called and e-mailed a couple of times for further information or when things changed slightly - every time things were dealt with positively and quickly.

    Being called the day before the move as a courtesy to confirm everything was a relief (a friend had recently had movers not bother to turn up when they had been booked).

    When the guys turned up they were professional but friendly. The care they showed for my things and the properties at both ends was amazing. They were quick and efficient - whilst still humouring me with converstation and allowing me to help out here and there. They were a very good team, who provided me with laughs and a low stress environment.

    So - all in all, an amazing moving experience - a big thank you to everyone involved. It ended up taking less time than I had thought and certainly was a lot less stress than I had feared. I will now be recommending Metromovers to anyone I know who is moving.

    Two big strong guys that carried my heavy Piano like it was a tiny toy. They were on time and were very efficient. They also came out with a smile on their face and were great to deal with. Both gentlemen deserve a pat on the back. Very accomodating and genial in their conduct. I put my trust completely in Metromovers.
