    Great as usual, however corn chips in the nachos seemed mix of stale and fresh. So they lose some points for that

    I used to love the food here, but unfortunately, over the years it's defiantly changed.. And so have the staff. What used to be a warm, comfortable environment, now seems like you're doing something wrong when you sit down for a meal. Staff stare and although I feel flattered at times, it does get annoying very quickly. Can we eat in peace without eyes on us, getting ready to pounce to clear the plates as soon as we finish our meal? Also, some staff need to rethink their behavior.. Playing with your hair whilst taking orders does not look good to customers.. But I must say, I do still love the nachos and burritos, I just wish the quantity and quality were as good as they used to be!!

    Have to say was extremely disappointed with this restaurant the food was worse than a box from Old El Paso and was very amused when my mother received Earl Grey tea with a Coles label on the bag! Meals received with attitude and the salad could have been created by a Grade 6 in home eco class! Definitely give it a miss.

    Went there with a group of 7 on 19/10/10.

    Extremely disappointed. Staff member didn't want to give us the time of day, and though 6 of us got our meals fairly quickly, the other person had to wait an extra 15 minutes for her nachos. The staff member wouldn't smile, and several times over the night tried walking away before we'd finished ordering or talking to them.

    The food wasn't particularly good either - at 7PM on a Tuesday night, I was told I couldn't have beef burritos because they'd run out. Instead I got very dry salty chicken, Mexican rice that tasted and looked like it was just steamed and had some yellow food coloring put on it, and Frijoles that tasted like someone had just dumped a can of baked beans in a blender.

    Our $28 jug of frozen strawberry margarita came out with a layer of ice on top and the rest of it just liquid. We called back the staff member and they got snippy telling us "that's just how they come". No, it's not. We asked another staff member who told us that the machine was defrosted and if we wanted to wait about 5 minutes, she'd bring us a fresh jug. 20 minutes later we got the jug that was properly frozen, by which time our meals were finished.

    This place is an absolute joke and there is no way any of us will be going back there or recommending it to anyone

    Very average mexican and staff made no effort to be 'hospitable', I was even served my rice side with a waitresses finger in it! The food was ok, but all the flavours were amalgamated together so in the end it tasted like nothing... Good atmosphere though.

    Used to love this place and went there for dinner with my husband and found some staff rude. Could not even manage a smile either which is awful! The chicken in my meal was dry and tasted terrible. Wont be recommending this place to anyone anymore or going there again. Very disappointing!

    If you like Basic Mexican you will like this. The menu is great (not many specials or changes though over the years)the staff are friendly but it is always busy so sometimes you have to wait a little while. But the wait is worth it - give the stuffed jalepenos a go - they are awesome.

    I love mexican food and the food here was amazing. What was even better was the service. The greeting we got at the door was so warm and genuine, it made the whole experience very welcoming. Highly recommended.

    I have always enjoyed Mexican food, and the food here is no exception. From their tacos to nachos and burritos, you will definitely find something here that takes your fancy. The restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere, so it is a great place to go with friends. If you are planning a function, they have a separate function room upstairs.

    What used to be an excellent restaurant for service & food has gone steadily downhill over the years.
    Most of the dishes taste the same and the staff often leave you wondering what you have done to offend them, particularly when food is dumped in front of you and smiles are saved for the register. You get a very strong impression that people do not like working there.
    I used to eat here almost weekly but now risk only the occasional visit to avoid disappointment. They are often busy, but with new competition in town management need to employee some friendly staff and perhaps get a Gordan Ramsey type in the kitchen to put the love back in the food!
    There one saving grace is that they still serve the best nachos in town.
