I revisited Mickys last week and I am pleased that they have managed to maintain all the good things that make Mickys good: the warmth local atmosphere, the friendly and respectful staffs, and of course the food that they offer.
Whilst I agree that the price is still a little bit on the high end of the spectrum (considering the ambiance of the place and also the serving sizes), the taste and quality of their food never disappoints. I ordered linguine with bacon & mushroom in a garlic & shallot cream sauce and it was heavenly. It has the right level of creaminess enough to satisfy my craving for creamy dishes while at the same time allowing me to enjoy it until finish without feeling bloated. We also ordered the fish burger and my friend ordered the New York cheesecake that she absolutely loved as the soft texture and the way the flavours come together nicely.
Again, I cannot stress how friendly the staffs are. And although they can sometime come across as a little bit inattentive (especially during busy times), I see it as being respectful and allowing the guests to enjoy their meals and the atmosphere with their companies with minimal interruption.
