Lynne is committed to providing efficient and cost effective speech pathology services to her clients. She believes therapy should be fun both in the clinic and at home.
An Early Speech and Language Screening tool, the MELS© was developed by Lynne to identify pre-school children who may be at risk for speech and language problems. This tool is being used in a number of Early Childhood Settings in Australia.
Lynne is particularly interested in early language, childhood speech disorders, autism, early literacy, and adolescent language.
Lynne was the President of the PSPAWA from 2003 to 2008. She is a member of Speech Pathology Australia and she believes that Speech Pathologists play a key role in ensuring individuals with communication difficulties maintain their quality of life.
Communication is the key to advocacy.
