    I am a mature driver who has relied on MRT to look after my Subaru Heritage for the last 10 yrs. I have always found them very professional and effiicient. I don't understand motors so I rely on them to advise me. Not oversell but make sure I had a reliable car at a cost effective price.and this, I am happy to say, they have always done.

    These guys are pretty slick, professional but not the cheapest. Had a service done on my Outback, turned out more than quoted but did get some other stuff done and they did ask first. Get what you pay for, good value

    MRT charged me for changing all 3 belts as I requested a month later the belts started to make a noise I had a look and only one of the 3 belts had been changed. They also forgot to reconnect one of the vacuum hoses which isn't a big deal but I wont be recommending them or going back. Paz

      I have reviewed the Job sheet that was completed by our technician. It shows that the three belts were fitted. As we warrant all our work we offered to you to bring your car back so we could rectify this free of charge. Its unfortunate that you chose not to.

    If you dont know enough about cars to understand what mechanics tell you about whats wrong with your car, stay away from these people. Had my car serviced there a couple of times, and from the very start they stared with the scare tactics of timing belt replacements, STI filters and magnetic plugs. After a safety check they then went on to tell me I had a blown head gasket and went straight into an explanation on re-engining the car, a massive and expensive job. Turned out some fluids were overfilled at the service and simple leaking out breather valves. They even recommeded not to change the water pump during a timing belt replacement, probably in the hope they could get another 5hrs of labour out of me once the water pump failed.
    From all the talk Ive heard about these people, I thought I could expect good, honest service, but this is definitelty not the case.

      We appreciate your comment and feedback. As we dont know your name we cant comment exactly on your case, but what you say is not entirely true. In 70% of cases a water pump rarely needs to be replaced when a timing belt is fitted, Hence we have saved previous owners hundreds of dollars in unnessecary water pump changes.
      Re your timing belt, if it is over due to be changed we are required by law to advise you of the risk of engine failure due to cam belt failure.
      Re your sump, as your model has no magnet in the sump and other subaru models do, we highly recommend them, hence why so many people request them

    I rang this company from down here in Melbourne and the service was so poor im definitely not using them. They left me on hold for 5 minutes the line ended up cutting out and i didnt call back.

    I was told by 8 people i know not to use this company as they felt ripped off.
    So I rang mrt to order a part for my car.After
    being on hold for 10 mins they quoted me more money than they
    advertised it on there web page?
    I was warned not to deal with these people and i found out first
    hand.I would not recommend that anyone to go there as im now the 9th
    person saying this.

      our web site is so massive sometimes parts price varies.
      BUT
      If a part is advertised on our website you can purchase it for that price, so I am confused!
      PS re the 8 ppl you spoke of, have they actually bought off MRT?

    A very special thanx to the guys and gals at MRT My evo7 GTA, being an auto due to a broken back was a little sluggish. I only owned it one week before sending it to MRT. After previously being mucked around by different tuning houses, none of them could offer a LIFETIME warranty, but MRT can and its worth every buck. I had the XB kit fit and a full Tein suspension and swaybars, and tie rod link kit. I had previously been told to get water injection by mates, that it adds heaps of power etc and Brett could have sold it to me if he was just interested in making a dollar, but after speaking with him and having him explain that my money would be better spent elsewhere on the car with better results, it was then i realised that MRT is not out for a dollar, Brett and the team are more like mentor's or parents, guiding the customer the right way and not just the way of greed. I will NEVER take my car anywhere else, ever. The car went in with 131kw and ended up with 198kw @ 6300rpm and torque was up from 232nm to an amazing 422nm at 3100rpm. Please, before you buy your next car, call and speak to Brett and the team. I thought Brett being the owner would be too busy to chat but i was wrong, he actuall apreciated me calling and asking questions which was all i wanted, someone to listen.
