Good but not great. Not so sure they really cater for individuals - maybe time they had a rethink on what the customer wants, not what group/corporate bookings want.

Went there in a big group on the weekend. Saturday night is so busy. My fish came out very dry but the staff was very helpful and replaced the place. My wife enjoyed the bugs. Great dish.

Staff were really lovely, however to me it was an overpriced fish n chip shop, you really do pay for the location. Would not return, there was nothing that I could not have picked up myself from the fish markets and with a little imagination cooked at home.

Great setting right on Cockle bay. The freshest seafood and salads around (and some naughty chips for some). Fantastic whole snapper which is superb, great and reasonably priced wine list. Nicks is a terrific place for a quick business lunch or a more lengthy casual affair over a couple of bottles of your favourite. Waiters all very professional. Best value on Cockle bay

A large group of us went to this restaurant- 15 all together. We were seated pretty quickly as we had booked. The group of us ordered the special - bugs for an entre and we ordered 4 large patters of seafood and 1 tuna steak for a 'fussy' guest of ours. The Food took so long to come out. I mean we were waiting at least 45 minutes- on a Wednesday night. But when it did it was beautiful. The tuna steak however, was just that- a bit of fish on a plate with NOTHING else. anyway a couple of times the wait staff did not pay attention to us and served the wrong wine to the wrong people on the table- and the service was very slow. But in all it was a nice night as the food was very tasty. Not sure if i would go back if it was a personal trip due to the cost, but for a business dinner it was good.

One of my favourite foods.... Lobster Mornay.... At Nicks they serve a great Lobster, good quality, fresh & chunky ! So when we want Lobster, Nicks is always at the top of our list. The ambiance and vibe of sitting on the boardwalk at Cockle bay on a balmy summer evening is hard to beat. The waiters there are top quality and look after you superbly. Abit pricey but worth it for the food and the location.
