I was told by the staff at the other salon that my gift voucher cannot be used on weekends even though it does not state this in their brochure or on their website?? The whole point my boyfriend bought it for me was so I could go on my days off .Anyway I decided to try the Pagewood salon and have a micro with collagen mask.
I had the therapist return from just having a cigarette and the therapist's fingers absolutely reeked of smoke. It made me feel sick. Kept the light on in the room as bright as can be then had to turn it to a lower setting only because I asked, whilst I waited as the mask had been applied I had to listen to the therapist on the phone and then returned to inform me of the various products and courses I should try-(they love the hard sell at nirvana) the therapist kept kept head scratching then continued to put cream on my face (i felt ill and my eyes were stinging-prob from the nicotine)
For $150 I did not receive any type of massage ,it was probably worth a $70 treatment if that ..I should have said something but I just wanted to at least get my treatment done so I didn\'t feel like I wasted the gift voucher I was given.
I will never go back to the Pagewood ,if u want to try nirvana go to the other salon.

By far the worst beauty salon I have ever visited! Nirvana should concentrate on sustaining their business through expertise in the beauty industry instead of cashing in on peoples low self-esteem.

Nirvana used to be great years ago. I don't know if they have new management, but the service and treatments have change dramatically. I love dermabrasion with a facial, have been having this done for ages - the treatments vary from therapist to therapist - the staff I was seeing initially was brilliant, they knew their stuff and were amazing at their job. Unfortunately they left, (but I gave the other staff a chance) so the last 4 times I've had a different staff every time - none of them did a decent job, every time I tried to relax the door kept opening with another staff coming in to grab a product or piece of equipment. Apart from this all they do well is try to sell sell sell. Their tan application is horrible as well, I was left with awful streaks - I ended up exfoliating until I was red-raw to get the stuff off.

Never, ever going back - The staff have no consistency and all they try to do is sell products.

I found Nirvana Beauty to be the WORST Place I have ever been to. They are over priced, extremely poor customer service and DO NOT HONOUR Vouchers. I would not recommend Nirvana Beauty to anyone. I even tried contacting Head office and have not heard back from them.

Shocking service - bought a 6 treatment voucher on spreet - spent nearly $400 on it - couldn't go to first appointment because of sick (vomiting) 8 year old daughter - they say I have forfitted the remaining 5!

One of the worst beauty salon I've ever been. Had the spreet voucher for laser hair removal given as a present. Had to fill the client detail card 3 times as they couldnt find my details!! The therapist who performed the treatment did not seem to know what they were doing. They didnt even have the goggle on and they were going really fast. I thought the next few visits would be better but the instrument was broken and it wasnt fixed the next week. By the time the instrument is up and running I was told my voucher is expired and they cant provide me with further treatments. However, they said they could give me discounts from the full price. What a joke!!

I was given a team spreets voucher for my birthday with Nirvana beauty. I did not receive all the treatments. Their excuse was I was a few minutes late. When I booked they told me it would take 2 1/2 hours. And I was not told to come a bit early to fill in the skin profile! Even with me being a "few minutes late", it only lasted 1 1/2 hours. The treatments I did receive did not reflect what was in the voucher. The pedicure was basically just getting my nails done - $40 worth of value - I don't think so! Eyebrow wax was two very small wax strips and then plucking! I need to get another one! 30 minute custom back massage - I was not even asked what I wanted and there is no way it went for 30 minutes. 60 minute facial - please! Lucky if it went for half that time! The deal also included a $50 voucher for another visit. They were not even going to give me that! I had to ask for it!
Do not go here - I would hate to have actually paid full price for these treatments.

My friend and i are both getting married and are looking for a good salon to go back to, to have treatments leading up to our weddings. We both booked in for facials, massages and pedicures at Nirvana in Miranda.
Being a therapist myself i know what to expect out of a treatment and my treatments were worst than ones i received during training on my first day of college. All treatment times were cut down and we ended up leaving the salon 30 minutes early. Most of the facial routine was completely missed out including the massage which is usually the best bit. During my massage the door to my room was opened 4 times and other therapists came in which was very unrelaxing and uncomfortable. After explaining this to the manager she didnt want to hear it and told us to complain via email which got us nowhere. So i wanted to let anyone that is thinking of booking in with this company to think twice there are many other salons out there which i am sure of will do much better jobs.

Yes, I am 100% agree with your sharing as I had tried their service yesterday. They specifically said that there is facial massage, hydranting and deep cleansing treatments, and none being done. Instead, they kept selling products. And suddenly people came in the room. and I elt very uncomfortable and not relaxing at all. The service doesn't worth for the price.

I didn't complain with the store manager as I don't think that will help, instead, I prefer to share my experience here to ensure people don't try their service.
