We chose The Vines for our wedding night. Very disappointing and we will not be going back. We noted on our booking that this was our wedding night and did not even rate a verbal "congratulations" at check-in let alone a bottle of wine in our room (as is traditional at most resorts/motels). The room was clean, but that's about all we could say. Room service took an hour to be delivered (not the 25 minutes promised when we ordered) and was seriously disappointing food - not restaurant quality at all. Your wedding night is really special - you should be floating on a cloud. A little attention from the staff doesn't cost them a thing. :(

My partner and I splashed out for a nice weekend away and we were not disappointed by the room or the service of the front reception staff. We found the the accommodation to be of an excellent quality. Unfortunately what let the experience down was their restaurant - we stayed on a Saturday night and were only able to eat a buffet style meal. We were offered minimal meats - pork (which I don't eat), seafood (preganant so unable to eat) and cold meats (for dinner - during the colder months??), all the side dishes were also of a very poor quality, even the bread rolls were like little rocks. I was only to stomach one mouth full of broccoli which was overcooked and very little else and all for the bargain price of $50. Upon leaving we were then charged for a bottle of sparkling water that we didn't drink and a bottle of wine that they didn't even have available. All round the dining experience itself was extremely disappointing.

I love this place. There's so much to do at the resort and also in the Swan Valley. Its such a nice place, with a variety of places to eat and different types of accommodation to suit everyone. I've been for a quiet weekend, a catch up with the family and out with mates. It's awesome!! Worth the visit. Do yourself a favor and at least check out Vines Cafe near reception.

Had always heard great things about this place. Was lied to. This would have to be one of the worst places I have ever stayed at. The bedspread in the bedroom was stained. The bathroom was not pleasant at all, had hairs on the tiles etc.
The best I can say about dinner is that it was average. At the end I ordered a plunger tea and was served a cup with hot water and a tea bag next to it (had to try and hunt down a waiter to get some milk). For the first time ever I handed in a feedback form informing them of my displeasure. Never heard back, have a feeling it was probably thrown in the bin hmmmm... And YES I do tell EVERYONE
p.s. there was one waiter who was very pleasant and helpful but due to my annoyance with all the rest cannot remember his name
