    What a great Motel!
I recently stayed at the Nunawading Motor Inn and found it to be exactly I what I wanted. Firstly, the Motel is located in an ideal location: walking distance to Nunawading and Blackburn station, a number of bus lines run straight past the Motel and its close to shops and grocery stores. The Motel is also very affordable and clean!
The workers there are all so lovely and helpful, they are more than happy to have a chat with you and went completely out of their way to give me directions and ensured my stay to be pleasant. Might I add, when you stay here make sure you order a bite to eat, I ordered breakfast and dinner and it was fantastic!
I would recommend this Motel to anyone wanting clean, an ideal location and affordable accommodation.
My stay was great and I will definitely be returning again and again and again.
Keep up the good work Nunawading Motor Inn!

    E. Royce,
Im not too sure as to where you have gathered your information in writing a negative review -
However I stay at the Nunawading Motor Inn on a regular basis (2 or 3 nights, every 2 weeks) due to my business travel. It is situated ideally between the NEW Nunawading train station and the Blackburn train station, with buses that run down Goodwin street (Hotel Entrance) every half hour or so.

The Nunawading Motor Inn itself offers everything I need for me travels - Wifi to the room, room service for breakfast and dinner (as well as an onsite dining room), also the room contains NEW televisions, beds and couches - tea and coffee facilities are up to standard too.

The linen and decor of the rooms is of standard - and if E.Royce witnessed notices regarding the replacing of towels, (which stipulates that if towels are left on the racks or hanging they will not be replaced, as the motor inn is doing their bit to help the environment)

I would suggest this Motor Inn to those that are traveling on a budget or in groups as it is CLEAN, AFFORDABLE and ideal LOCATION, the staff are friendly and will ALWAYS go out of their way to provide you with a pleasant stay.

Unfortunately some reviews such as the one posted previously - are NOT a good indication.
I would also like to mention that this Motor Inn has been run by the same owners for the past 30 years - So once again, E.Royce i acknowledge that this is your opinion, however Im pretty sure that your review is an unfair towards The Nunawading Motor Inn - and that truelocal.com.au should be thoroughly be reviewing the contents of your review.

    Regards

    LPJ

We stay here for 4 nights, and were not overly impressed. Our room smelt of old socks/sweat the entire time and we had to buy air freshener to do something about it. The staff didn't replace our wet towels, and the cold wet winter weather caused them to dry much slower than they might have in summer. The steam exhaust in the bathroom was broken, meaning the entire bathroom stayed wet for hours after a short shower. Our coffee cups were not cleaned and the replacement biscuits were in open/damaged packaging. One looked like it had been stabbed with a pencil or a pen.

All the surfaces were sticky and greasy, from not even being wiped over with a cloth in forever. My laptop and its non-slip feet slipped and slid all over the place.

The included breakfast was nice, however cold toast was not enjoyable. We thought requesting breakfast earlier in the morning would help. Nope, the toast was colder!

This place was easy to find, and the staff were friendly. It's close to pretty much everything. If you can afford a few more dollars, try some where else, unless you are only staying overnight.
