Octopus Travel are abysmal. I have a long litany of complaints from the terrible experience with them. Firstly, their back office is in the UK and all their billing comes from there so keep in mind right away you'll have a foreign exchange transaction on your credit card even though you think you're paying in Australian Dollars to an Australian company. Secondly, they can't book correctly. I have had problems with the hotel I stayed at because Octopus used the booking code for two adults no children, instead of - as we booked and they confirmed - two adults and two children. They then were rude to the hotel staff when they called to get verification. I just cannot recommend Octopus Travel at all.
