Do not use Olympic. Our biggest mistake was using them. They are uninformed, do not do as they say they will, did not communicate with us at all as they promised, the 4-6 week estimate blew out to 16 weeks, did not follow through with things. Do yourself a big favour and save weeks of stressing and things going wrong, use a smaller local business who cares about their customers. Olympic do not give a toss about you once they have the contract signed.

It has taken nearly six months from initial contact with a salesman to pergola install. No communication, the parts were sitting on my driveway for about seven weeks before contact from the erector. Phoning them has no effect. I should have gone with Stratco who I initially was going with, just the price swayed me. You get what you pay for! I would never recommend Olympic to my friends. Their deposit and progress payment is very high, which did concern me, as they have most of the cost of the product before anyhting happens.

This is the slowest installation have ever experienced. The standard sales line for lead time is 6 weeks after council approval. This is totally misleading. Advice is minimal if existant at all. If you want it in less than 4 months with good advice to help you make those decisions you hadn't even considered yet go Stratco if you have the extra coin. it is worth it in the end.

great cheap prices, fantastic salesman ask for collin... couldn't think of a much nicer, more helpful man as collin and he actually knows what he's talking about which makes a change.

  The lead time is ridiculous. I waited 5 months for a flat roof pergola to be installed when I was told 6 weeks from council approval. I was given no advice by olympic on certain parts of the job even when I prompted the sales team. Stratco had a pitched roof wired with custom made blinds, lights and fans installed in a family members property in less than one third of the time I have been (and am still) waiting. Olympic is cheaper, but you do get what you pay for.
