I moved from Brisbane to Dubai on October 2011. I signed a contract with OSS, and they told me I will get my consignments in 5-6 weeks.
After knocking every door, and trying all of forces finally they delivered my goods in March 2012.
During this period I had to buy almost everything, so now I have got double of everything.
After 3 months trying they asked me to pay extra money to speed up my shipment, but even that didn't work. Instead of deliverying in 2 weeks, it takes 2 months.
I wouldn't suggest them to any one, even my enemies.
I had my goods sent from Brisbane to Sydney. They did not handle my goods with good care. I saw damages to my furniture upon arrival. Not only that, when opening the packaging, they used cutters not with care and damaged the goods, causing scratches. I have used OSS before, but the quality of the service has dropped a lot since then. They didn't try to accomodate, did not offer me to fix those damages and just commented that furnitures were not meant to be moved around and the staff had put their "best possible care". Scratching my goods when opening using cutter represents "best possible care"? They even blamed me that it was my choice not to purchase insurance. I am very disappointed with OSS now and will never use their service again.
Our furniture arrived safely and is now in storage. I would like to take this opportunity to express our thanks for a truly easy move. We have moved many times and this was certainly the smoothest and least stressful one. The removal crew were excellent, very efficient and courteous. I would not hesitate to recommend your company to anyone moving abroad from Australia.
