    I just wish it wasn't so squashed & crowded (especially when the yummy mummy crowd rolls in)...but I guess that's a sign of the quality here.

    Great little Italian cafe in the heart of Paddington. Great coffee, sandwiches, salads and treats. Love the prosciutto & mozzarella sandwich on fresh olive bread. So simple yet so tasty. Fabulous cabinet full of cakes & sweets too. Only negative is how hard it can be to grab a seat as it's so tiny. Best to get take away sometimes, although sometimes this can take a while too.

    I take my cafe's very seriously, and Alimentari is extremely good. I can't believe the other review - 2 1/2 stars ...get a grip -cafes like this makes Sydney great.

    Alimentari is the kind of cafe/deli that every European has on their doorstep - it's just a pity there aren't more like this in Sydney. Enjoy the best coffee in the East whilst listening to the staff's friendly Italian chatter. Don't leave without sampling a delectable treat from the deli counter - the Italian buffalo mozzeralla is a must!
