    If you're looking for:
    Leather goods
    Mobile phone covers
    Souvenirs
    Cheap clothes
    And some unique things
Then this is the place to go. Take a walk from Central station or the light rail, and bring your small change (to bargain), and know you'll buy more than you planned but get some bargains!

Tacky tourist merchandise and really cheap, but great if you need something like a iPhone cover.

The fresh food market however is awesome however, everything is so much cheaper than Coles/Woolworths, and I find the quality is usually ok, but hunt around from stall to stall.

Paddy's Market is great. It's affordable and they have a lot of stuff. It's even in the Lonely Planet:p

The good thing is definitely the prices. You shouldn't expect friendly staff, or really nice clothes. Besides, it's hard to find your way there because there is no structure at all. I was quite disappointed.

Paddy's Market is a very well known shopping mecca for tourists travelling to Sydney. They can get almost anything they want that can be worn or their bodies, consumed through their mouths, tacky memorabilia for their mantel or bookshelf, or gadgets repaired. We see smashed iPhones being repaired and people trying on UGG boots.

A couple of downsides to such a popular market include the crowds and heat during a hot day. Don't flash your cash but do bargain, you'll be surprised.

If you don't mind getting a little lost whilst shopping and getting mesmerised by the colours and experiences, this is a good place to get some cheap products. It's a popular place for Sydneysiders and tourists alike.

Paddy's is great, of course. They have such a reputation and it's convenient if you live/work in the city. Sometimes you can find treasure hidden away amongst all the usual souvenirs and random items that are sold upstairs, and the fresh produce is good quality.

The best market in Sydney. Lots of cheap clothing, souvenirs, toys, produce, CDs, DVDs and more. There are hundreds of stalls, but variety of stalls is a bit lacking, you'll see some stalls that look like exact replicas of others. However some of the stalls are unique, selling products you won't find anywhere else.

Some of the products' quality is a bit lacking. This mainly applies to the souvenir and toy stalls. The market can also get quite crowded, particularly on weekends. The best day to go is Friday, as on Wednesday and Thursday some stalls are not open.

Overall, Paddy's is an excellent place to find a bargain, or just to kill some time wandering around the aisles of stalls. Best of all, it's all indoor.

Why is it I can't find a partner but can find Sydney's cheapest bananas for $1 at Paddy's? Cheap, fresh and easy like my previous relationships, Paddy's a successful partnership!

Haven't been to a market for ages, usually try to avoid them most of the time. Paddy's was fun, good for buying cheap toys fors kids and iPhone covers - lotso f stores have the same covers available in the Apple store but at one quarter the price.
