My partner and I had ventured off with excitement and joy for this 'luxury' cruise...however upon arrival we were very displeased! the boat was small and tacky, the staff were all in casual wear clothing so you couldnt tell the difference between them and others on the cruise! if that wasnt lucurious enough - the massage area was a public area where everyone on board shares the same room with you and the massuses...and they call this luxury?! id rather pay my local massage palaour a quarter of the price for a service that is worth the luxurious price this place charges!
WHAT A LOAD OF CROCK !! and good luck trying to find "Victoria Harbour" as they had no signage and it took us 1 hour to find the darn boat ladies not "ship" so beware.
It was so disappointing last Saturday to experience the Pampers Afloat.
Totally a rip off. This is called false advertising. It cost me $300 for my daughter and I and I can honestly say that I wouldnt have paid more than $50 and this is because the only good thing on this "boat" was the lady doing the tarot card reading. Don't be fooled by the ad on their website where you see the lady lying down having a massage..... totally untrue. You sit on a hard chair and your lucky if your masseur gives you a massage. No calming relaxing music on this boat, be prepared to listed to "hard rock" and talk talk talk all the time while your hoping to get a massage and some peace and quiet !!
Food platters, and gourmet finger foods, yeh yeh yeh, lucky we had some lunch before embarking on the "boat" otherwise we would have been starving. The voucher says "Gourmet food platter". Yes well there were food platters, but wouldn't call them "gourmet". We saw five platters go around and four times it was the same thing. They were selling a $5.00 bottle of champagne for $7 per glass. No complimentry tea or coffee. Had to pay $2.50 for a cuppa and since you have to wait so long in between getting your massages you would think that at least tea and coffee would be for free!!. Their voucher also says that you get $50 voucher to instant laser clinics. - Never got them and I'm sure we never will.
Just wondering whether the organisers/owners have actually done the 3 hour experience? I'm for one will never never be recommending this experience to anyone. I just wish I could get my money back!!
My girlfriend received an email for pampers afloat so we booked for my sisters birthday. All I can say was it was the funniest day I have had in a long time, but not in a good way! The massages were terrible in my opinion, just our luck we got the therapists that would not shut up and let us enjoy a relaxing quiet time! I must add that we saw 3 of the 4 tarot readers on the boat and the lady my friend had was great so there was one positive thing that came out of the day... but the psychic I had was a crock, but to be expected! The funniest was my sisters reading who told her they felt her husband had passed on... HILARIOUS!
This was the most ridiculous day I have been on but I thank them for the laughs we got at their expense!
