I have eaten here twice and had positive experiances.
The first time I ate here, we had actually gone to loan star for dinner. The service was that bad (see my other review if you want) that we walked out of loan star, and over to Panarottis. We told the waiter about our night, and we received really good service, and meals came out fast (which was good because we had been waiting at loan star for ages!)
I went back again recently, and still received good service, and the wait time was not very long between meals. Pasta was quite nice and the pizza was really good.
Been to the one in the westfield at tuggerah. Twice, a month apart at least (to see if they've improved)
It's bad. Both the food and the service are poor.
Both times we've ordered a soup and a pizza (to share for the two of us). The first time we were pretty much alone, the second time there were a few other people, not many tho.
The wait was some 45 minutes for the soup, both times, and came together with the pizza. They did not even bother to ask if we want the entree before the main...
They've also messed up our order, and brought a small pizza out, instead of a normal sized one. No big loss, as it turned out.
They sold "minestrone" soup, but it was a tomato soup with carrots and pasta, and copious amounts of oregano.
The pizza bread is half-baked. It tastes raw. We've told them the first time that it's a problem, they thanked us for it, and we got the same thing the second time.
The staff is moderately courteous, more professional than the cafes around, but they aren't too enthusiastic, and they make a lot of mistakes (ours wasn't the one they've messed up around us, they kept bringing orders to the wrong tables, etc)
I'll not bother going back again, and I don't recommend it to anyone, either.
Been to their mingara restaurant plenty of times, checked out their new restaurant (they moved to westfield tuggerah). Setting was very nice, The four cheeses pizza's are the best. Service was a little slow between entree and mains, they were packed at the time and waiters checked on us every 10 minutes so they didn't completely leave us in the dark.
I'm not a big fan of their main meals, the steak n mushrrom pasta I had was a little bland. My partner tried the ribrack pizza which had one small strip of meat per slice, not worth it for $25. On the other hand my friend had the mobster pizza which looked really good, so maybe i'm just not picking the right stuff for me.
Definitly worth a try, but if you don't like it the first time I wouldn't go back.
