    I had a bad experience with the management of Parrahills Appliance Repair. Over the phone I told them that the Evaporator fan of the refrigerator was not working and needs to be replaced and asked for a price which they refused to tell over the phone. They came on a $50 service call and told me that it has to be replaced and the cost of the fan would be $95 and the final cost would be $200...I argued that the original fan is worth $65 and how they calculated this $200 figure to which they say that they were 21 yrs of experience and knows what they were doing and then they agreed for a discount only if i pay $180 cash and without the GST...which was a complete ripoff.
    I sent them back and prefer to call someone genuine for the repairs.
    Would never ever recommend.

    I had a problem with my washing machine and came across these guys. I gave them the make and model of my machine and described the problem and arranged for them to come on a Saturday before Midday. They called around 8.30am to say they'd be there in half an hour and arrived half an hour later, replacement part in hand, ready to do the job. All up the repair took about 10-15 minutes. The washing machine is as good as new and all my questions as to why it broke in the first place were answered. They also provide a 12 month warranty on parts. All in all I'm happy with the service... I wouldn't have minded a bit more of a sleep in though!
