I ordered 11 items from Party Savers on 14/05/13. 1 pack of gold spoons, 5 packs of gold Five Star cocktail napkins and 5 packs of Five Star dinner napkins.
1 or 2 days later i received the items in the mail but sent to my residential address rather than the shipped address that i provided. I received only 3/11 items (The spoons, 1 Five Star cocktail napkin and 1 Five Star lunch napkin not dinner as i had ordered)
I waited another 1 or 2 days to see if the rest of the stock arrived to the correct address. It did not.
I called and received an apology. They could not remember what they had packed but offered to resend the items.
A few days later i received the items (again shipped to incorrect address) and they were not the Five Star brand i had ordered but a different brand. I called and was informed that i had paid for the cheaper brand. I double checked the website and informed them i had paid and selected the Five Star brand. They yet again apologised and said they would exchange the inferior brand.
I received another phone call from Party Savers informing me that the dinner napkins were out of stock (although you could still order them online, i.e. not posted on website) They offered me the lunch napkins instead and would refund the difference.
On 27/05/13 an employee of Party Savers came to my shipping address and exchanged the cheaper branded napkins for the Five Star brand and informed me i would receive the refund back onto my card.
It is now the 1st of June 2013 and i have yet to receive the refunded money. I called and they said they would refund me $15.
I was so patient with this company, as a manager of a retail business myself i understand that mistakes can happen but for 1 order there were numerous errors and now i am frustrated.
1. Items shipped to wrong address 2. Incorrect number of items shipped 3. Incorrect item shipped (lunch instead of dinner) 4. Remaining items shipped but not brand i ordered 5. Inability to update website (i was still able to purchase Five Star dinner napkins although they were out of stock for 2-3 months 6. Did not provide refund for items i didn't accept.
This company really needs to work on their error minimization.
