    Great value and great meat - it can be seen as 'bargain basement' in that there is a huge variety but there is also choice in price ranges - y bones through to eye fillet.

    Staff are very friendly and very knowledgable and a lot of the meat is sourced locally - much better choice than coles or woolies.

    Pretty disappointed after a recent shop at the store.
    I guess if you shop at a meat shop which is marketed as a bargain basement style of thing this is what you should expect?
    To the credit of the store, yes the prices are very cheap.
    Tried the 'rib fillet' the other night, it was cooked quickly and medium rare. The steaks texture was wrong and the flavour was strange as well.
    Had the corned beef tonight for dinner which needed to be cooked extra because of toughness and was strangely (for corned beef) devoid of any salty flavour at all.
    The chicken we bought was very cheap and I'm glad to say tender and tasted good.
    The mince was thrown out as there was something odd about it and once again just not quite right.
    The shaved ham was covered in a greasy kind of film and tasted a bit odd.
    On leaving the store after our purchase we were given two different prices at two different checkouts as at the first one after scanning we found out it was cash only. The prices differed by around 8 dollars.
    The poor quality here definitely outweighed the cheap prices on our visit and I will not be returning.

    Very disappointed in the quality of the meat. The rissoles had not flavour. The rump steak was firm, not tough, but not to my liking. The staff were very friendly and made me want to come back. Prices cheaper than Coles.

    Great value meat and a large selection. Be sure to get there early though on a saturday and sunday as most of the meat is sold out by 11am. They have some great specials during the week too so if you are driving past be sure to drop in.

    This is a mega meat shop with fantastic meat, poultry and some seafood, they are open 7 days a week with very cheerful staff. They offer cheap prices for good quality meat, buying bulk in no problems.

    Big gun is a great store and they sell good quality meat, bread, milk at low prices. Milk is at 1.89 for 2 liters (on special) and the bread is cheap aswell.
