Escape to this trendy Moroccan-style bar and restaurant in Balaclava, East St.Kilda, for a relaxed evening of drinking and dining. 
There is a range of tasty treats on offer including Meatballs Marrakesh and Salad fattoush.
The extensive beer and wine list has bottles from Spain, France and Italy, (plus a free bowl of wasabi peas with every bottle of wine purchased.)
Bookings are taken, though not essential and there is no hire fee for large group bookings.
Pause is open Monday to Friday from 4pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12pm.

Small cosy bar. Serves both alcoholic drinks and hot drinks. Good place to go for social drinks. Nice pillows and couches to sit around. Always busy which is a good sign. There is a car park out the back with plenty of spots. The fresh mint tea and their hot chocolates are great!

A good place for a weekend evening to chill and meet up with a large group of friends. Stake your claim on the couch area at the back entrance and you'll soon feel at home.

The service is OK and the food is just OK, drinks are OK too but the place has a nice, relaxed atmosphere that, if you live nearby, is a reason worth the visit.

Fantastic atmosphere and a different range of beers and wines. The food is quite heavy and but is reasonable. Still a great place to go for a snack and a drink with friends.

a Great relaxed vibe, perfect for post work drinks. A good selection of wines and they make a great moquito. Also good international beer specials.
